The SUE Programme

The Sutainable Urban Environment (SUE) programme is a ￡38m initiative supported by the Engineering and Phyical Sciences Reearch Council (EPSRC) invetigating different ways of improving sutainability in the urban environment.

Spanning 30 different UK Univerities, the programme has funded 18 consortia in all areas of sutainability including: waste, water management, transport planning and strategy, spatial planning, regeneration and stakeholder engagement.

As well as funding over 400 reearchers, SUE's multidiciplinary consortia can boast over 120 project partners including local authorities, large and small companies, town planners and charities.
